Jesus, the Good Shepherd~~~Christ, the Soon-Coming King is Returning!

(Reposted for Easter of 2020)
Every knee will bow, every tongue confess that He is LORD!!
He was humble and walked the path of obedience all the way to death—
his death on the cross.
For this reason God raised him to the highest place above
and gave him the name that is greater than any other name.
And so, in honor of the name of Jesus
all beings in heaven, on earth, and in the world below
will fall on their knees,
and all will openly proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
(Philippians 2:8-11, Good News Translation)
RESENT for Easter, 2020)
If you and I, she and he, and everyone is kneeling and then proclaiming that Jesus is Lord, why would we want to say those words and not be saved?! Those who refused to believe and take that first step will be completely inconsolable and will have remembered the times that they could have accepted the Lord, yet they will still be testifying with their mouths because Jesus' Lordship will be exceedingly obvious. You and I have the choice to be saved!

Oh, how God:

the Father, the Son, and the

Holy Spirit

~the Trinity~

our One God, the Lord

~oh, how He loves you!!

Christ knew that He would give Himself on the cross to save us~ before time, before He made the earth as we now know it to be, and before He made us in His image. You have either made the choice to accept Him as Lord and Savior, or you have not taken Him into your heart. If you are still reading this blog and have not made the choice to accept Christ, then you still have time! Accept Him now.

Will you be amongst those on His right side, the sheep of His fold, or will you be on the left, the goats, who will be separated from Him forever?
I pray with every fiber in my being that you will be on the right side of Jesus, with the sheep of His flock.
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
“He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
“Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.
(Matthew 25:31-46, NIV, New International Version)

Those whose names are in the
Lamb's Book of Life
will be the ones saved and live with God
for ever and ever.
Do you know how you can be in
the Book of Life?
He writes the names there, but it is your decision that makes it so. If you will take that step of faith in Christ, and tell Him that you ask forgiveness of your mistakes, that you believe that He died on the cross for your sins, that He is the Son of God and rose to Heaven to be at the right side of the Father, you will have stepped over that line of faith into forever with Jesus Christ!!
Keep close to Him.
Make sure He is the Lord of your Life as well as your Savior.
He knows when you are sincere in your acknowledgement of Him. No one can take your salvation away once it is secure in Christ. And then, continue in your faith in Jesus Christ as the LORD and SAVIOR of your life...keep going to the Mark that is Jesus Himself~ to the very end of your life here on earth.

I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
Philippians 3:14, (NIV)

(Jesus said:)
Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.”
Jesus used this figure of speech, but the Pharisees did not understand what he was telling them.

Jesus is the Gate for His Sheep

Therefore Jesus said again,  “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.

“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of his sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”
The Jews who heard these words were again divided. Many of them said, “He is demon-possessed and raving mad. Why listen to him?”
But others said, “These are not the sayings of a man possessed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?"

Further Conflict Over Jesus’ Claims
Then came the Festival of Dedication at Jerusalem. It was winter, and Jesus was in the temple courts walking in Solomon’s Colonnade. The Jews who were there gathered around him, saying, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”
Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”
Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”
“We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”
Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods”’? If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set asidewhat about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father. But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.” Again they tried to seize him, but he escaped their grasp.
Then Jesus went back across the Jordan to the place where John had been baptizing in the early days. There he stayed, and many people came to him. They said, “Though John never performed a sign, all that John said about this man was true.” And in that place many believed in Jesus.
(John 10, NIV)
So, the question begs to be asked, do you know your Master's voice?  Do you recognize Him?
Jesus of Nazareth, The Son of the Living Lord God Jehovah longs for you.  He wants a personal relationship with you.  (He is jealous over you.)  He wants you to want to talk with Him, to study His Word, The Holy Bible, and He wants you to fellowship in the body of believers, the Church, of which He is the Capstone, the Cornerstone, the Foundation.
There are some things that you cannot understand until you take the step of faith, trusting that He will never leave you nor forsake you.  His promises are 100%, they fail not.  No Christian knows and understands everything about God, but there are some things that you cannot grasp until you ask Jesus into your heart to abide in you, and then the Holy Spirit comes in and seals you to the Lord forever.
Grow each day and keep your faith, making each day count for your Savior, upholding your beliefs until you die and pass on (pass away, go) to Jesus in Heaven, forever!!
No one can ever take your salvation away from you.  Many exciting, surprising and fun things are to come.  Joy and Love are two major components found in the body of Christ amongst the fellowship, the members!  Then, the understanding and wisdom can flow when you read The Bible and study helpful Christian books, talk and share with your pastor; lady friends if you are a woman; and male friends if you are a man.  Mixed groups for lively discussions on Scripture and Bible-based books are stimulating and maturing in the faith.  Believe that God will walk with you each day; spend time with Him in prayer and listening, listen to good Christian music, and He will, indeed, walk with you and guide you in your efforts, answering your prayers to Him.  Let us not grow weary in praising God and in being obedient to Him, walking the path of righteousness to the best of our ability, daily asking of forgiveness of sins- errors of omission, ill thoughts or poorly chosen words, etc.  He will walk with you each day. Listen for His leading about your tasks for the day and how you may help another; He will bring people to mind, people upon your same path, individuals whom you are lead to or are particularly interested in  helping.  Remember, our precious Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Father, interceding for us!

Donna M., Re-sharing before Easter, 2020. Easter this year is April 12, 2020.  Come to Jesus' Flock- He will never leave you, nor forsake you.  He is the GREATEST in the earth, above and below- the whole universe and beyond- He is our/your Creator and Savior!  Here is a Salvation Prayer to tell God how you feel~~~A Salvation Prayer for You! (or tell Him in your own words...either way is equal and true and works...)

 A Salvation Prayer

Dear Father in Heaven, I want to know You and to be with You forever one day when I leave this first part of my Life.  I believe that Your Son, Jesus, died to take away my sin.  You are Holy, and Jesus is the Lamb of God, the Only ever Perfect God and yet fully Perfect Man.  He came to die on the cross, to be resurrected, then to be with many people here before He ascended to Your right hand to intercede for each of us.  I have made mistakes, and I want Your forgiveness.  I know that the Holy Spirit Who came- that is why Jesus ascended to Heaven- will be in my heart and mind and give me help, guidance, and comfort, understanding of the Word.  The Holy Spirit literally lives within me.  Thank You!  In Jesus' Name, Amen!
