Who or What is Keeping You From Jesus? A Salvation Prayer, Scriptures

Do you see the glow in the face of both the little boy and in the face of his Savior and Lord?  They are so happy!!!  Looking ahead, looking toward the future, a sight for sore eyes, the each of them.  Jesus has his arm around the boy's sweet back- this boy is one of the Lord God's creation, made in His own image!  So thrilling it all is!

Just think how it will be for you and me when we behold Christ's gorgeous face and loveliness as we are together with Him, for always!  There is none other, no greater Joy for which we can hope and look forward to, one day.  We know and have His Promise of being in Heaven when we have taken Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.  

How very incomparable and beautiful it will be one day, when the ties of this Earth have released us to be forever in Heaven with our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus!  Such glory, honor, praise, and Joy forever and evermore.  It is almost too much to imagine.  But, it WILL happen one day, there is not doubt, whatsoever.

Almighty God promises us this gift in glory with our Savior forever and ever.

~~~The Most Important Question You Will Ever Be Asked~~~

Do you believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?  

If so, what factors caused you to look to Him as God, to depend upon Him for your afterlife, i.e., going to Heaven, when you pass on?  Do you walk with Him each day?  

Our Christian faith states, breathes, and beckons us that the One God is Triune in Person and Spirit: the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.  Being the son or daughter of Jesus, the Lord God, most clearly includes reading and studying the Word of God, the Holy Bible; if at all possible finding and attending a Jesus Christ believing church and being active there- in the community, and around the world with support to missions; helping and loving your neighbor as yourself; and there are other ways to worship and be oh-so-close to the Son of God- for example, that all-empowering communication called Prayer!  In my estimation, that aspect is essential- talking with Almighty God!  

God in His All-powerful, all knowing, and present everywhere at the same time- I AM that I AM wants to speak with you!  With me!  Almost unbelievable, but absolutely true. The King of the universe WANTS a relationship with each of us.

The title of this posting is: Who or What is Keeping YOU from Jesus?  If  you are not being kept away and have the personal relationship with Christ, Praise God!  You might want to continue reading for continued encouragement and helpful ideas about how to help bring your loved ones and other folks into the fold.

The Bible tells us that it is the Holy Spirit of God that draws us to a relationship with Jesus Christ.  The One Almighty LORD God, Who is Triune in Persons: is the Father; Jesus, the Son; and the Holy Spirit of God. Jesus came to the Earth as a baby born of the Spirit of God coming over Mary, Jesus' earthly mother, to one day walk among people, according to His Father's will. Jesus was fulfilling God's promise to Israel and all of humanity. Jesus' ministry to bring the Good News, the Gospel, was to tell mankind of God's great love above all and for each and all.  Jesus would die on the cross, the Perfect Lamb of God, Who was and is the only One who could expiate the Father's wrath that humanity, each of us, had sinned again and again against the LORD God.  

~~~Two Anecdotes of Pain~~~ 

Recently I had a lesion removed from my tongue.  The oral surgeon used Novocaine, but it did not seem nearly adequate to ward off the pain.  Without being frightening, I just want to say that this procedure, the complete excision/removal of the cyst, mild dysplasia/pre-cancer, was one of the most horrible experiences I have had... and I am 69 years old, and I have given birth to two children, and suffered excruciating migraines, to say that I have experienced some extreme pain in life .  This oral surgery was not even close to the suffering our Lord Jesus endured FOR US, so that all of the sin ever done or would be, was heaped upon Him to pay the price to God for OUR sins. 

Then, when our children were in high school and college, I had a terrible car accident 18 years ago with 2+ years of surgeries and rehabs.  I still suffer the effects of that day when I lost control of our car.  The car accident and healing was long-lasting and awful. However, one of my closest Christian friends asked me later if I would give up the closeness that it brought me to the Lord; it was like night and day- my Christian faith and walk with Jesus before and then after this car wreck.  "No!" I told my friend at her inquiry about giving up my so much closer walk with God versus being spared the intense pain and difficulties of the accident.  I called on Jesus as I lay there pinned in the car, and my husband Royce--- who was in another car ahead of me on the road and saw everything of the wreck in his rear view mirror--- watched on and talked with me while it would take some time for the Volunteer Firemen of Osage City to extricate me from the crushed car and put me on a Life Flight helicopter to St. Joseph's trauma unit in KCMO.  During all of this, I remember calling on Jesus immediately in my mind while I visually could see nothing as I lay there in the car, and- then I barely heard my husband Royce's voice and the volunteer chief firefighter talking to me.  God moved so incredibly throughout this whole time, and He took me from being a fairly regular, maybe lukewarm? Christian woman to a full-bore, totally in love with Christ Jesus prayer warrior and Good News servant and apostle!  Albeit, the anguish to my family: Royce, and our two young, grown children was incalculable.  I wish they could have been spared.   Yes, I know they grew in their faith, too, but you would have to ask them...

This sacrifice of Jesus Christ the Son of God allowed each of us the Gift to accept Jesus' sacrifice, to believe in Him, and only Him, so that we could walk with Him and then one day when we pass away, we will go to Heaven to live forever--- with God and all of the other folks who have chosen Jesus as their Savior!  Hopefully, we will have ALL of our family, friends, and important people in our lives there with us, PLUS innumerable new FRIENDS, folks of the faith from the Bible, and so on... 

The opposite of not accepting Christ Jesus is that when one day anyone who rejected Christ as his/her Lord and Savior will go to Hell to be separated from God forever.  It is almost too horrifying to contemplate, but we must. Darkness, demons, perhaps no one whatsoever, ALONE and away from God and everyone we love.  I have tears in my eyes as I think of this fate...and such a totally unnecessary one! 

The Bible is a tribute to one of the following facts: God is struck to the core when one of those He made from His own image does not choose to go to Heaven to be forevermore with Him; Jesus is crushed beyond even what we could feel for our own daughter or son, or husband, sister... Some folks have said that WE choose where we go in the afterlife- we choose Heaven or Hell, and I believe this with every shred and fiber of my being as I have grown in my maturity in the faith. Nonetheless, again I am crying thinking especially about the two people in my Life who are uncertain in their choice.  There are others for whom I am weak with concern and love in not knowing because THEY do not know or have not made the certain choice yet of "YES, I CHOOSE YOU, JESUS CHRIST, as MY LORD AND SAVIOR!" Why be uncertain about the most IMPORTANT DECISION that you will ever make!  What is there to wonder? I ask you!!!  Come to Jesus right now!  Tell Him in your own words that you believe in Him as your Lord and Savior, and you accept Him.  There is a Salvation Prayer below that you can read and say to Jesus.  Do not wait one more moment or one more time!  Jesus wants YOU, my friend.  He made you from His own image; He gave you a soul and a spirit, a free will.  None of His other creatures, the animals have a soul or free will.  God loves you this much to make up your own mind about His Son Christ.

Sometimes, there are loved ones, even people whom we did not really know or who are a stranger across the world, whom we do not know how they chose or did not choose Life With Christ before death.  In those cases, we must rely on the Truth of God and give our concerns, as deep as they might be, back to Him.  This, another vital reason to pray for salvation and the right choice for individuals we love or even hate while they are alive on Earth (Jesus said to love and pray for our enemies: Matthew 5:43-48) Jesus said, Love Your Enemies and Pray for Those Who Persecute You. You can tell, write about and speak with people we know at work, in our families, in our neighborhoods, to study the Word, to spread the Good News, the Gospel of Christ, the "Greatest Story Ever Told!"

I have shared my personal story of returning and truly accepting Jesus as my Savior and the Lord of my Life.  It is not too late to accept now.  Do not hesitate, nor wait, Dear Friends!

A Prayer for Salvation in Jesus Christ

Dearest Father in Heaven,

I know I have sinned and fallen short of Your glory.  I also do know that you forgive me completely because You have promised me this through the cross that Your Son Jesus bore where He died, was buried, then rose from the grave.  He walked among women and men and then he rose to Heaven to sit at Your right hand, Father.  He left so that the Holy Spirit of God would come to Earth to live and to draw each one of us to believe in Jesus.  I accept you, my Beautiful Jesus!  You are my Savior and my Lord!  Thank You, thank You, God!

The Rapture: Take Hold of Christ! Vicky Thomas' Postings AND Jeanie Windes' Dream & A Salvation Prayer!

There is much good that I could say about these two women of God- Christian ladies who are dear friends of mine.  They are so important, and I am very thankful to them for sharing their hearts and gifts with us.  Each one prays and studies the Bible, loves her Lord and family.  Both Vicky and Jeanie are precious, and they spread the Good News, the Gospel of Christ Jesus, Who is the Living God, both Bread of Life and Living Water.  Jeanie and Vicky are married to Christian men, are mothers and grandmothers- and wonderfully so, you can see the love of the LORD in their faces!

I must quickly share how today's vitally important posting came about...how Almighty God orchestrates happenings for His will and greatness, for the goodness of His created ones, us.  The unity of God's Spirit is incredible and magnificent!

When I saw Vicky's blog title come up for my favorites, I clicked on the title of the Rapture, and when I saw the whole title there on her beautiful blog and read just a small portion, my mouth fell open, and I just knew this was it!  By that, I mean I knew it was time and that her work must be shared on my blog, too! ~~~(See below for each of the three parts on the Rapture, plus her new book at Active Relational Christian Mentoring, with Christ at the center, and focuses woman-to-woman.)

Meanwhile, Jeanie had seen a posting of mine recently that caused her to contact me.  We had not seen each other in a while and wanted to catch up on each other's lives and our faith.  When we met and talked over coffee that particular day, one of the last things Jeanie said to me was, "Oh, I had a dream about the Rapture, too."  As we shared with one another, we had been discussing Godly dreams.  Well, my mouth fell open a second time!  I was astonished that now I was hearing from another Christian about the Rapture.  God's timing was perfect, as usual... The two must come together, so here are Jeanie's dream and Vicky's blog postings...God bless you and enjoy, Dear Friends.

Rapture Dream (in Jeanie's words and writing)

I was walking along on the sidewalk in downtown

Sedalia, Missouri close to where I grew up.  It was

a beautiful warm sunny day.  No one was around me.  I was walking alone.

I looked up at the beautiful blue sky and marveled

at all the little clouds that were gathering.  They were beautiful white clouds that were swirling around and increasing in number and size.  Suddenly I realized they were Angel wings and the sky was filled with Angels.  Then the blue sky split open and all I could see was a brilliant Gold Light. Instantly my body started ascending into the air and I realized "this is the rapture."  I saw other specks ascending around me and realized it was other people.  I said, "Praise God, this is the rapture."   I woke up feeling that this dream was God saying to me, "In your lifetime."

 
The Rapture is the Truth of God in His Holy Word, the Bible.  God's Biblical Promises to this point in time have all come true, and those still to be done will most certainly happen, including the Rapture, followed by the Tribulation and the whole of God's Plan to completion.  The New Heaven and the New Earth will form, which is God's Kingdom for those who have believed in God the Father's Son, Christ Jesus. 

When Vicky and I talked last, we each had thought prior to the other's knowledge: "We want people to know that the Rapture is not a fairy tale.  It is going to happen." 
Please, dear ones, be with those of us who have chosen Life in Christ; it is eternal.  None of us wants our eternal life without God.

A Prayer of Salvation

When you want to step over the line of faith to God, you can tell Him in your own words or pray this prayer, simply telling the Almighty that you believe in His Son, Jesus Christ- that He died on the cross for your sins and that you want to be with the LORD forever and ever.  My husband Royce says that we make it so complicated about faith and trust in Christ and that it is simple.  Yes, it is...if you are sincere, take that step now...you will be new in Christ, and you will never, ever regret asking Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior forever.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I know I have fallen short when it comes to living the life that I should.  In small and even big ways, I need Your complete redemption through Your Son, Jesus.  I believe that He is the Savior and the Lord of Life, that He came to earth and is the only fully human and fully God Person ever.  He died for me, was resurrected, and He arose to the right hand of the Father in Heaven; JESUS LIVES!!!  After being seen by many people 40 days from His redeeming crucifixion- just for me.  He took on the sin of everyone.  I am sorry for the sin I have done.  Thank You, God, for being my God!  I want to follow you all the days of my Life and then go to Heaven one day to be with You and others who have believed in You, only.

From Last Posting...Here is the Fascinating Extension of the
Lord's Use of Numbers
On June 25th (2015), my posting concerned the three times of extremely
high numbers of page views that occurred from Israel over the last 12 months.  There was still something that I continued wondering~ at the edges of my mind...it seemed there was another nugget of God's numbers' wisdom to be found and discussed.  Surely enough, there is more, which I am eager to share today.  I am positive there are more...God is unlimited and boundless in all of His ways. 

All of God's love is poured into people.  He is the One Who created numbers, and I am certain that He uses them for our good. 
You and I, Friend, are His favorite part of Creation.  How happy and blessed that makes me feel!!  I know that I am my Savior's!! 
He made me, and He bought me to save me, to have me forever in His Kingdom, and to grow me to be more like Himself.  All that I needed to do was to accept Him in my heart and in my mind- to give back to Him through my own free will -
me, myself, and I. 

I am a beginner at learning about the importance of numbers from and of the Lord in the Bible (Old and New Testaments) and from the Hebrew people in the Old Testament, etc.  "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." -- (Hebrews 13: 8 KJV, New Testament.)
God still has messages within His creation- the world, languages, reading writing, symbols, DNA!--- numbers, and so forth.
The Lord God is The Alpha and The Omega, The Beginning and The End.  We cannot put a box around God- what an absurd thought- and yet I have tried to do that, to limit what I think He is capable.  The Scripture says:
"I can do all things through Christ Who Strengths me." -- Philippians 4: 13. NKJV. There are legitimate links I have discovered, but please do check any out for yourself, for accuracy/truthfulness, i.e., who is the source/writer?
A helpful way to look for these blogs, articles, websites and books online is to Google or use your own search engine and simply type in:
"God's Numbers"- or variations thereof;
another is "Meaning in Biblical Numbers." 
There are a plethora of books of today and some decades past, including much longer, most assuredly, where authors have investigated God's meanings in numerics
(this is not an occult art, although there are many realms that deal in the occult, which we as Christians are not a part!).
I am challenging myself to use our public libraries more; we do not want them to go by the wayside!!  What a precious American/or your country's resource, always.

God's Timing- Impeccable and Perfect, Always

In a nutshell of information, there were three specific times that the page view numbers went sky high for my little blog with readers from Israel!!  I had a some, but not very many, and I prayed before June 28th (the first HIGH number of page views from Israel), "Lord, could we have some more people from Israel?"  I had also asked for Central and South America, Africa...and numbers increased by His grace for many countries and areas; however!  Nothing like what happened with Israel...June 28, 2014- 417 page views; December 6, 2014- 568 page views; and lastly, thirdly, May 16, 2015- 714 page views!  (Please note that there is significance that the first and last numbers are each other in reverse...417, then 714.)  I was so shocked and thankful each time there were these 3 extremely high readership numbers from Jesus' Land. 

To the Crux of This Posting!!

Okay, back to what was nagging at me...I was wondering- how many days were there between the three high page views for Israel?  I checked and double-checked on an online calculation link that gives you numbers of days between two dates, and I took the option to include the last date in the comparison, i.e., for June 28, 2014 through December 6, 2014,

the exact number of days is 162. 

For the time period between December 6, 2014 through May 16, 2015,

the exact number of days is 162.
Here we go...when one adds the numberals within the number 162,
1 + 6 + 2,
it equals, = 9
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was crucified at 9 A.M. and died on the cross at the 9th hour of the day, 3 P.M.
3 + 3 = 6, and 3 X 3 = 9

"Used 49 times in Scripture, the number 9 symbolizes divine completeness or conveys the meaning of finality. Biblically, again, in God's Numbers, the number 9 means
finality and divine completeness.
"Nine also represents the fruits of God's Holy Spirit, which are Faithfulness, Gentleness, Goodness, Joy, Kindness, Long suffering, Love, Peace and Self-control (Galatians 5:22 - 23)."

Would you believe this? 
When I added the two intervals of 162 days separating the 1st and the 2nd
AND the 2nd and the 3rd times of
extremely high page views in Israel within that period of 12 months, 1 year...
162 + 162 = 324
Do you know what 3 + 2 + 4 equals?
Yes, indeed, the number 9 again!!

All of these dates on the Sabbath in Israel, the extreme three and each time increasing higher page views; the fact that it always came in a three-hour span of time within that Sabbath day; the preciseness, timing, and now more regarding the numbers...well, Friends, this is the power of God's will.  There is nothing random, happenstance, coincidental, or otherwise about God's Chosen People reading, extraordinarily, about Lord Jesus.  He is the Lord of lord and the King of kings! Jesus Christ is from the line of David and a Jew; Jesus comes through the Hebrew tribe of Judah...

Oh, have I forgotten to tell you (dry, rhetorical question)?
Jesus is returning very soon!! 
Be ready- He loves you and He wants you with Him and us- either through a natural death, which is to be absent from the body, present with the Lord (as a true believer/disciple of Christ), OR He wants you to be brought up by Him in the soon-coming Rapture!!  Each of those indescribably breath-takingly beautiful, real events are open only to true Christians. 
Oh, Behold our Lord God in the clouds; His time is nigh, Hallelujah!!  Amen.

In truth and sureness, there is nothing random about how much God loves YOU, and how He intervenes, orchestrates, allows, encourages, safeguards, challenges and loves each of us.
Do I know exactly why the Lord God made this happen from a heartfelt prayer of a Christian for the Jews and the nation of Israel? 
In my very humble opinion, at the very least,
God is saying:
I am here; I am always here, right with you. 
I am coming soon, and I want my Chosen People to be ready for me,
their Yeshua Messiah.
I want as many people, Jew and Gentile, all nations, and peoples to be my Bride, the Church, to be prepared for my soon-coming arrival. 
Accept my gift of Salvation, that you only need to
~~~ask Me or tell Me that you believe I am your God~~~
Jesus Christ Who is The Son of God,
our Father God, and God is also Spirit (Holy Spirit). 
Turn from your sins and walk with me always. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
Personally, I think the happening of the extreme numbers of page views in Israel is extremely significant, and I do believe things such as this are happening all over the world with so very many of God's children.
(I am so honored and thrilled that I could see the happening over this year's period of time, unfolding the layers of God's hand and desires that I can only wonder and be intensely thankful.  I would like to spread the word to Jews, Messianic Jews, and Gentiles so that we may marvel together and thank our Creator for ALL that He is doing to bring us under His supreme and loving safety, Love, to be in His family forever in Heaven.  We can enjoy the fruit of that right now.)

Jesus, you put it this way: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and strength, and then love others as you love yourself.  I want to turn away from my past.  I know you to put it away from yourself as far as the east is from the west and as deeply into the ocean where you remember that sin no more.  You completely forgive me, God!  I am so grateful and blessed to be your child!  I believe in Jesus Christ, that He died on the cross for me, arose after three days, stayed with the Disciples and others for about 40 days, then He ascended into Heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father, where He intercedes for us!  Thank you for your undying Love for me, now and forever.  Help me stay with your Bible, find a good, solid, loving church that exemplifies Your Truth, not some candy-coated, feel-good meaningless imitation.  I want your Truth and to fellowship with people who care and want to be your disciples.

+++FURTHER NOTES- The Lord Jesus always knows His purpose and purposes for what He is doing, of course!---He chose to reveal His Presence and speak with Paul, blinding Paul on the road to Damascus, and more! so that Paul could take the Gospel to the Gentile world, but not exclusively that because Paul did witness to his fellows in Judaism. I realize how important each of us in the faith is because we each have our life, goodness, and work to carry out in God's plan for us and the whole world. I know many great disciples of Christ today and apostles.  A disciple of Jesus Christ is a believer who wants to learn about what Jesus said and did, to know mainly through the Bible about Jesus' life, death and resurrection; someone who wants to walk daily with Jesus and be has holy as possible in doing as He did.  An apostle is closely related- the twelve Disciples[Matthias (Hebrew transliteration: Mattityahu; died c. 80), according to the Acts of the Apostles, was the apostle chosen by the believers to replace Judas Iscariot following Judas' betrayal of Jesus and suicide] became Apostles and with Paul, formerly Saul.  To read more about this happening...click on this:

These are people who go out into the world and tell the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ, that He is The Son of God, that He is our Lord and Savior.  We are disciples and apostles when we believe in Who Jesus truly is and stay in the Word of God (the Bible), worship Him, and have a great fellowship with other believers- helping others as we help each other.  We also want to tell others about Jesus Christ and how they can have Him as their Lord and Savior!  We remember that "to be on mission" means living the Life each day with our children, students, friends, co-workers, bosses, people for whom we are responsible, strangers, neighbors, new acquaintances.  Sometime, perhaps often, a relationship building between yourself and another or others is best in making contact and spreading the Good News!! to others in your sphere of influence.

The Lord has continued putting that title upon my mind and heart to speak to you, to be mindful! and ready! regarding this most vital Truth. 
Jesus IS returning soon.
That fact is more real than we can truly imagine right now,
and it WILL happen.

 I am dedicating this song and two more toward the end of today's writing*** to our beloved sons- Tyler Joseph, first, and then Eric Gregory, son ("in-law") who was actually born prior to Tyler, to make sense of that---our daughter and her husband are older than her little brother Tyler :) 
How much Royce and I love these three~~~ vibrant and caring individuals, our grown-up children~~~ with all of our hearts and minds, with everything we have, always and forever!!! 
How much MORE does the Lord Jesus Christ love them and us-
all of us!?  I cannot quantify it other than Jesus died on the cross, a horrid, wretched death and had all of the sin that would ever be, heaped upon His body and Spirit in a human, fleshly, vulnerable body.  He was rebuked for our wrongs.  Jesus, completely God Almighty and completely a Man, was and is totally pure and holy~~~ enduring so much scourging, rejection, and absolute hatred, that HE CHOSE to endure it- so that we have the opportunity to accept Him as Lord and Savior, to believe in Him, and to follow Jesus Christ all the days of our lives. Then, we do NOT have to endure complete separation from God forever.  Those of us who say, "Yes, Jesus, I believe in You and will follow you each day~~~and I choose to be in Heaven in bliss beyond measure, thankfulness, Joy and Love with You~~~ and other beloved, forever and ever.  I will never be separated from You, the many who will join me, and those who are already waiting there for me."
LISTEN, FRIEND  Please!  For the good of your whole life long, now and into eternity: do not let the message of Salvation in Christ, alone in Him, pass by you, yet one more time.  We do not know if Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Messiah, The Chosen and Promised Righteous One is returning tonight or in 100 years, but do you want to take the chance of your eternal soul to be separated from God and everyone-everything! you have ever known or loved?! Just because you waited too long?!  You do not know what can happen to you in the next day, let alone minutes, or hours.  If I could shout out to you, I would.  I implore you to stop a moment to consider your eternal self/soul/person/YOU!  Rather, listen to the Lord God Who has planted many seeds in you waiting for that (perhaps THIS) moment of fruition when you are ready to take the step toward Him to accept His Son, Jesus Christ, of Nazareth.  Waiting for you at the Door, He has always been standing there; what a beautiful Truth.  He  paid the price for you since He was the only One acceptable, Wholly Man and Holy God, Who could pay the price of the unblemished, totally Righteous One He is, to pay your sin debt and mine in full!!  Maybe this is the first time you have heard about Jesus.  BE one of those incredible souls who believes immediately and takes hold of Christ!  Perhaps you believed, then fell away; come back to Him now by knocking on the door of His heart; He most assuredly will open it to you!  Of that, you can be completely sure; God is always faithful to His own.  Regardless of the number of times Jesus has drawn you near to Him for that moment in time when you take your Salvation and Lordship with Him...take this very moment to: 
Be One of God's Redeemed!

God through His Holy Spirit is beckoning you!  Don't you hear Him?  Have not you had those inklings or gouging holes of emptiness, that something is missing in your Life?  Something is not complete yet, but it can and will be once you step over that line of faith to Jesus Christ.  He died on the cross for your sins and mine, each person, but YOU are the one who must say, "Yes, I believe in YOU, Jesus!  You died for me and rose again, going to sit at the Father's right hand, and You left so that the Holy Spirit could come!!"  He protects, guides, prompts, loves us, and, Jesus, You said that we would do even greater things than You had!  You know why?  Because Jesus lives inside of you when you accept His gift of Salvation and Lordship in your life!
~~~A Salvation Prayer~~~
Dear Heavenly Father, I want to accept Jesus, Your Son, as my Lord and Savior. I know He died on the cross for me and my sins, and arose again. He is with you in Heaven now. I know the Holy Spirit will come be with me now to comfort, guide and direct, and help me to be more like Christ, the Living Water, Who is fully God and fully Man. When I leave this earth, I will go directly to Heaven to be with You, Lord, and other loved ones forever! Help me to learn more about The Holy Bible, to have fellowship with other true believers, to pray, and to walk with You each day. My old sins are forgotten, for You have cast them to the bottom of the sea, and they are no more! Thank You for letting me witness Your Kingdom now and into eternity. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

My beloved younger sister-in-law, Lori Ballinger introduced me to this picture about eleven years ago at her home...I said that I didn't quite understand its meaning, even though I had been a long-time Christian~ I remember I wondered why a man of today would have pounded the nails into Jesus' body. Lori explained to me, and I see similarly now that this grand painting says: each one of us has, in one way or another- probably in many ways- rejected and sinned against God's Son, Jesus of Nazareth, Who is the Messiah, The Promised One, The Anointed One promised for approximately 6,000 years:

Author Max Lucado says that if we had only been given the Grace by God to have eternal life when we choose so and accept, then that would be more than enough for Him to give us.  (Thanks dearest friend and sister in the Lord, Darlene Harrel, for bringing this fact to our Bible study's attention.)  As if Salvation and His daily Lordship in our lives is not enough, our Great God, the Lord, gives us so much more~~~
in abundance and without stops on His loving care and kindness! 
My, how He is longsuffering and patient with us.
